Deborah Roethler is an executive with experience across multiple industries, from pharma to logistics, to financial service, government and more. Currently, she serves as the Vice President for Administration and Strategy at Advanced Medical Transport. Under Deborah’s leadership, the company launched its first ever wellness program for employees and expanded the transition to digital management as well as leading improvements in reporting, data management, and the associated skills to make those improvements sustainable.

Before joining AMT, Deborah was the Assistant City Manager for the City of Peoria Director. In that role, in addition to her leadership duties, she served as Director of Economic Development, Chief Information Officer and Administrative lead of the 911 dispatch center. In that role, she oversaw a significant expansion in cyber security, the distribution of millions of dollars to dozens of businesses, the development of a new financial opportunity sessions designed to help young businesses find financial partners and served as part of the area COVID response team from day one.
She was the financial lead for Fulfillment by Amazon, North America, held Growth Strategy and Corporate Strategy roles as well as procurement roles at Caterpillar and held a broad variety of positions at American Express, Eli Lilly, Booz-Allen. And in her early years, Deborah worked as a government consultant and ghost writer in Washington DC.
An Illinois native, Deborah graduated from the University of Illinois with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Political Science and Northwestern with an MBA. She lives in Peoria Illinois and has served her community through several board memberships such as United Way, LISC, Peoria Promise, and ART, Inc.
